Domestic abuse is almost universal among homeless women, yet support systems often fail them. Women-only services, like ours, provide the safe space needed to rebuild. For Plum, this support helped her move from rough sleeping to studying for her dream career.

Rebecca built a career in the NHS and had a flat in London. But when her mental health took a turn for the worse, she lost her home. We have helped her rebuild. Now, she's regaining independence and strength through running.

Jim’s story

Jim spent most of his life in Northern Ireland but fled to Camden after falling out with his paramilitary group. With little money or support, he ended up rough sleeping. Our services helped him find a place to rebuild his life.

Malcolm lived in Thailand with a house, car, partner, and computer engineering job. But everything fell apart during the pandemic, forcing him to live on the streets for two months. Our St. Giles hostel provided the support he needed to recover.
